If you want to open the second island to the left of the game map, you'll have to complete the mission "The Green Sabre". If you want to unlock the third island which is located at the top of the game map, you'll need to complete the mission titled "Yay Ka Boom Not that I know of but if you want to unlock all properties do the armuor cheat which gives you 250,000 dollars. Keep entering the cheat and go around and buy all the properties and complete each islands missions to gain access over the bridges.
